QUESTION:13
Find the Area of a rectangle the length of a rectangle is 3 more and 3 times the width of the
Rectangle.

 


 

Solution:
Take the Width as x cm
And the Length is three times and 3 more than
The Width. So, Length is 3x+3.

 

The Area of a Rectangle is:

 

Length * Width

 

(3x+3) ( x)

 

Expand the terms,

 

3x^2 +3x <------------- Answer.

QUESTION: 14

 

Find (k^9)^-5 when k = 0.

 

Solution:

 

Using Exponent Law we can simplify the expression ,

 

K^9*-5 = k ^ -45 = 1/ k^45

 

If k =0 the value is undefined.
