Question : Explain with an example how to find Surface area of a Rectangular prism.
Answer :
Let us consider a prism of dimension below,
length = a = 4 cm
width = b = 3 cm
height = c = 2 cm
So Surface are of a Rectangular Prism is given by the formula 2ab+2bc+2ca,
= 2*4*3 + 2*3*2 + 2*2*4
= 24 + 12 + 16
= 52 Sq cm
