problem on relations and functions

Domain of a given function is the set of "input" values for which the relations and functions is defined. For instance, the domain of cosine would be all real numbers, while the domain of the square root would be only numbers greater than or equal to 0 (ignoring complex numbers in both cases). In a representation of a function in a xy Cartesian coordinate system, the domain is represented on the x axis (or abscissa).

The x-intercept of a line is the point at which the line crosses the x-axis.The y-coordinate of the
point slope form where a line intersects the x-axis is 0. So, the x-intercept of a line can also be found by substituting y = 0 in the equation of the line.
Let's see a example on this from help solving slope of a line problems in algebra ii
Question:-
Find the domain,x-intercept and vertical Asymp for h(x)=log(4)(x-3)
Answer:-
consider h(x)=log(4)(x-3)
h(x)=log(x-3)/log4
domain : x-3 > 0
x > 3
x-intercept : h(x)=log(x-3)/log4
0 = log(x-3)/log4
0 = log(x-3)
log1 = log(x-3)
1 = x-3
x = 4
vertical Asymp : 3

Introduction to Trignometry

Topic:Trigonometry help

Trigonometry
is a branch of mathematics that deals with triangles, particularly those plane triangles in which one angle has 90 degrees right triangles. Trigonometry deals with relationships between the sides and the angles of triangles and with the trigonometric functions, which describe those relationships. Trigonometry has applications in both pure mathematics and in applied mathematics, where it is essential in many branches of science and technology. It is usually taught in secondary schools either as a separate course or as part of a Precalculus help
course. with the help of its Trigonometry formulas Trigonometry is informally called "trig".

Grade 5 problems

Topic:-Problem Solving

There is the 6 step method for problem solving for conflicts between individuals and groups ....

1) define problem
2) Generate possible solutions
3) Evaluate solutions
4) Make the decision
5) Determine how to implement the decision
6) Assess the success of the solution

This method is also called as problem solving techniques
This math help have 2 examples problems

Q1)
How many addition signs should be put between digits of the number 987654321 and where should we put them to get a total of 99?

Answer: 1) 9+8+7+65+4+3+2+1 = 99 -> 7 addition signs.

2) 9+8+7+6+5+43+21 = 99 -> 6 addition signs.

Q2)According to experts the first 4 moves in a chess game can be played in 197299 totally different ways. If it takes 30 seconds to make one move, how long would it take one player to try every possible set of 4 moves?

Answer: 30 seconds * 4 * 197299 = 23675880 seconds.

How to find percentage

Topic :- Percentage

a percentage is a way of expressing a number as a fraction of 100. But to solve fraction problem
We don't need percentages.

Here is a simple problem ,which shows how to find percentage.

28 is what percent of 80?

Solution:-

Let the number 'x'

28 = x% of 80

x
28 = ------ * 80
100

Since, 25*4=80 and 25*5=100

x
28 = ------ * 4
5

divide with 4 on both sides

28 x 4
----- = ------ * ----
4 5 4

x
7 = -----
5

Multiply with 4 on both sides

7*5 = x

So x=35

35% of 80 is 28.
